Can I download Sayo yet?
Sayo is currently in private beta. Public downloads are not available yet. This page will be updated when it is ready for more people.
Is Sayo only for Chinese and English?
No. You can mix languages in your draft and choose a target language in Sayo. Results depend on your chosen model. This website currently speaks English and Simplified Chinese, with room for more languages.
What do I need to get started?
A Mac running macOS 14 or later, Accessibility permission, and a configured model. You can connect a cloud service with your own API key or use a compatible local model.
Does it work in every app?
Sayo works with supported macOS text fields. Compatibility depends on what each app exposes through Accessibility. Some apps need the optional copy-and-paste compatibility mode; shell and CLI support require their own integrations.
Do I need a model subscription?
You choose and pay for your model service directly, under that provider’s pricing. A compatible local model is also an option. We do not promise a fixed cost or rewrite speed.
Why a little chameleon?
A chameleon changes its colors, but stays itself. That is the spirit of Sayo: change how you say it, not what you mean.
